Hello, my name is Mark Wieczorek. For those who don't know me, I just graduated from MidAmerica Nazarene University, which is an NAIA school in Olathe, KS. During my career at MidAmerica i ran track and cross country.

As an NAIA athlete, it is very easy to slide under the radar, and that is where I am hoping to come in. For starters, I would like to maintain a couple blogs a week which will highlight the upcoming meets for NAIA athletes, as well as keeping up with results and performances of these athletes. Eventually, I would like this to be the place to look to find out everything that happens for NAIA running. For this to happen, I will definetely need help from the NAIA guys out there.

I will be looking to develop some contacts through here and you guys will be able to help me by feeding me information and results that you would like posted. For this to work, I will need to add friends and I will need people to add me as friends as well. In addition, people adding videos of races or simply just a clip of you before a race letting us know how you are going to do. Check out this link to learn a little more about the site as well as how you can upload videos. I assure you it is really easy so that won't be a problem. On that note I want it to be really easy to find NAIA videos so make sure you put "NAIA" in the tags of the videos if it has anything to do with NAIA. So, the only race I know of for this weekend is NAIA Christian Nationals, which will be held in Cedarville, OH. Early next week I will be back with another blog and I will include the results and maybe some quotes, but no guarantees. Also if there is any other races please tell me and I will be sure to include them in my next blog.

My goal is to make this the best source for anything running releated in the NAIA, but for that to be possible I will need tons of NAIA athletes getting on here and getting involved. I have seen so many talented athletes during my time running, and hopefully their performances will no longer go unnoticed!

As you will quickly see, there are some bugs and little things that don't quite work right yet. Just like everyone else, I am new to runnerspace but I can assure you that the staff is working hard and making things better on a daily basis. I think that this could be a great way to keep athletes connected and i look forward to people joining and helping this become something really special.
