Hello again. As I said last week I will be posting 2 NAIA blogs a week, and typically I will try to get them up every Monday and Thursday afternoon. So as far as I know, there was only one race this last weekend and that was the NAIA Christian Nationals which was held in Cedarville, OH.

The womens side featured the #2 ranked Cedarville, who commanded the race with 4 in the top 6 and posted a team score of 29 to run away with their 2nd straight title. The Cedarville team was led by junior Nicole Santos who finished 2nd with a time of 18:35. Emily LaSala of Indiana Wesleyan took the individual title, and helped her team to a 3rd place finish with 94, behind Cedarville and Malone with 61. Click here for full results

The Pioneers from Malone College continued their perfect season tallying up 30 points and taking the win. Malone has been the unanimous #1 seed in the NAIA polls all season and pulled off the win with, as far as I could tell, none of their top 5 runners including track and cross All American Ryan Kienzle. Indiana Wesleyan took 2nd place (63) and MidAmerica Nazarene were led to a 3rd place finish (91) by JR Noah Too who won his 2nd straight individual title with a time of 24:45. Here is an interview of Too talking about his race, as well as the NAIA Championships.

There have been quite of few who have joined up and just continue to tell people to help spread the word about the site. The most important thing to help make this site a success is getting the numbers up and getting people involved. I know that there isn't much left of the cross season but it would be great if some of the athletes and spectators would post replies just talking about the race or upcoming races. Replies to my blogs would be a great place to tag pictures or videos as well. Thanks to everyone for your participation and please feel free to reply with any ideas or information or really just anything you would like included in a future blog.
